4HP22 Primary Regulator stuck
I had my transmission serviced and tested today, I suspected there were problems because it's being very indecisive on hills (4th, 3rd, 4th, manually shift to 3rd and it'll grab 2nd for a moment before slamming into 3rd) and it's very sluggish pulling away until it grabs second.
Anyway the official diagnosis is that the primary regulator is stuck, whereabouts in the box is the primary regulator, what does it do?

I do not know about this box but in the BW 35's they were in the valve body, which you could get at when you took the gearbox sump off.

is the regulator and govenor the same thing? if it is then it is on the back of the auto and to access it you need to pull the transfercase off to access it.
