I emailed them once for specs on their Oram (sp?) shocks but they never got back to me.
At the time they were copies of a 46mm piston Ohlins.
hey all,
can anyone tell me what length travel shocks come with the extreme kits?
front?
rear?
cheers,
Serg

i think but not sure the kit now comes with 15" rear and 12" front,
i have a complete set - unused here in my shed - i'll measure them later and get back to you
^^ yep there or there abouts maybe a touch under by my conversion's from mm
and front is pin to eye 720mm open length ( base of pin - centre of eye)
rear is eye to eye 940mm
you looking at buying a set?
not looking at those, but wanted to know what shock travel length they are getting out of standard link mounts, ie radius arms and rear trailing arms/A frame.
looking at fox 2.5 or billy 9100 2.65 RR shocks....
thanks for your help.

Matt who I've done some driving with is/was the importer for Equipe. Here are some pics of its flex.

In terms of what the joints and links will do, Coreys Defender may be a better indicator. He ran about 1m shocks. In this pic, the Defender is still very firmly planted on the ground, where its about where the Equipe setup maxs out. I don't think I have any pics of it lifting wheels - not that it ever really did.
I'm not definate, but I think Sam or Tony may have made comment on what the A-frame will take in relation to developing one of their early cars (may have been Tonys rolled Hilux) I was thinking 14" but that doesn't sound right.

FYI, I have 14" travel shocks in the rear of Fluffy and with the springs dislocated it easily maxes them out (found this out when one of my hose clamp locators broke).
IMHO unless your a dedicated trailer queen, 14" of travel from the rear is more then enough and getting that to fit with standard mounts is a problem in itself.
I rule!!!
2.4" of Pure FURY!!!
