Would you say that a slow return to normal revs between changes, could be a faulty clutch switch also? I have disconnected this before to see what happens, and they stay really high, not quite the same with mine, only ever so slight .

Have you checked the loom for oil contamination? What figures is the MAF putting out? Lack of Fault codes are not unusual with these systems. You have to interpret what youare seeing on the screen.
I have also had a stutter on a Td5 caused by a failing throtle potentiometer.

I have had no dramas at all with TRS ECU's/ maps.

No oil in the loom Justin I managed to fix this along time ago. What should I look for with the throttle pot? I suspected this a while ago but dont know much about it, this fault seems to come and go.

    Hi county,

dunno if this helps but, cylinder 2 has -5 balance whist the rest are all positive. How do you pin point a faulty injector??????

This stutter, is it as you are pulling away? Or as the engine takes up load?
If as you are pulling away, I would loosen the wastegate locknut, and lengthen the wastegate rod by about half the thickness of the locknut, then try it. They are quite an aggressive MAP and can fuel up early, allowing an overboost signal, cutting fuel momentarily.
Don't worry about -5, the parameters are + or- 15.
The throttle POT if it is faulty will give 'Driver demand error' fault codes.
    Try that and see.

    Hi Justin

The stutter is just when you let your foot of the clutch and dont accelerate much, I'll try what you mentioned, but this will lower the boost as well, do you recommend either a td5 alive boost box or irb development box to gain the maximum from the TRS ecu upgrade.

Do you think that this has something to do with the high idle to, between gear changes??

    cheers

Well Ive shortened the rod length, still has the stutter, not sure where to turn now!!! Would love to know if an injector is shot.

Have you tried fitting another ECU??? The "stutter" may be a "feature" of the aftermarket chip.Mine has a stutter, more that than a miss as such at moderately high rpm and no load,ie 2750rpm in 3rd gear with no load.Only happens with the Flashtuneable upgraded ECU.If I fit my standard MSB ECU it doesnt happen.
If you were nearby I would lend you my spare ECU.
