You have to LENGTHEN the wastegate rod, not shorten it. If the problem is related to momentary overboost then you have made it worse. I have had to adjust most after fitting performance maps, and no it doesen't really 'loose' any noticeable performance, maybe on a Dyno as a comparison but certainly not seat of the pants. By avoiding overboost scenarios the MAP will be working correctly. When I mean less boost we are only talking less than 1 Psi usually, just to avoid getting to max allowable via standard built in protections. Of course a boost box will fix this, but try the minute lenthening of the actuator first to see if you can 'tune it out' and see how it performs after that. I have adjusted and testdriven 1 particular vehicle for 35 minutes or more to get it right.

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Sorry Justin meant to say lengthened the rod length!! It is definately not as bad, and when you back off on the pedal and back on again it doesn't jerk as much, maybe some fine tuning and minor adjustments is needed.

I should mention thought that it doesn't pull as hard when you lengthen the rod, would you suggest a boost box of some kind??
Are the IRB adjustable boxes more suitable for my car by using a Nanocom for any sort of adjustments.

    thanks

IRB anti limit boxes are only really needed on cars that are running upgraded turbo and big remap.

What "Stage" upgrade are you running?

Just a "normal" boost box should do the trick.

try td5 alive, bell auto servies etc...

The new irb box is only for highly tuned td5s that are tripping the maf becuase the airflow is over 650.

Your problem is your boost pressure is going above the limited 240 kpa(not 100% sure that is the right amount)

The normal box is about half the price of the "new" type of box.
