    Disco 1 diff centre into a disco 2 ??

    Hi all.
I have just up-dated to a Disco 2 and would like to fit my old Diff-lock from my disco 1. The ARB books say they are same Diff-lock centre and part numbers But i did hear the outer mounting stud patten was different.??
    Can anyone help.

Yes it should bolt straight up. Only thing to check is the flange setup is correct.

Mate why don't you use the output housing and internals. That's all I did. Cheers

Your not confusing the axle diff and the cdl are you? Or am I?
I think M&J are talking about the ARB pneumatic diff locker.

Definately no difference bolts straight in as long as its 24spline it fits
a 24spline RRC/D1/D2 are exactely the same and also means that you can get rid of the rubber roto flex on the D2 fit a classic RRC rear drive shaft
    regards Kelvin
