While we are on TD5 clutches, how many km's can you expect out of one? And I know how long the piece of string is ok.....any input welcome

Nooooo!
That's not good Pete. I hope you are still able to get to Fraser.
I'm keen to hear how you go with the new clutch as I'm up for a clutch job soon. I have a squealing spigot bearing that I'm trying to ignore but it is getting worse ...

search is friend here, i was at 112 and changed mine, changed it for pice of mind, looked find and had no faults at the time, was dads car and it towed 2.8t van all its life on dirt rds, fly wheel had no burning marks or hot spots,, was very happy about that,
Sorry
Language issuesWhat i wanted to say was that i would use Britpart/rakeway flywheel but if I keep using dual mass I think using the valeo clutch is the way to go!!!
I had a bad experience when some motorsports company - specialized in brakes and clutchs - tried to "copy" one of those Extreme Outback clutchs, so I keep using stock Valeo.
