    do I have remote central locking?

    Howdy, I was just wondering if anyone knows how to identify whether a disco has factory remote cental locking installed or not.. my recently purchased 96" 300tdi only came with just a key and if it does have central locking this would make me very excited indeed.

    I suppose then, if it did I would still have to find a key fob.. then work out how to tune it in.. if thats even possible.

    They all had central locking. The fancier ones had remote locking.
    I pulled mine out and fitted an aftermarket kit due to failing motors.

    ok, im pretty sure mine isnt the fancy type, no woodgrain etc.. it does have srs and abs etc.. but I think they were factory optional extras(correct me if im wrong)

    The earlier D1s - including the first updates all had central locking. Operated by key on the drivers door only.

    Later D1s had central locking linked to an immobiliser operated remotely.
