What will let go first in a 300 Tdi?

Someone mentioned spinning a big end

I was talking to a Poozer driver on the weekend and he seemed to think the same thing. Apparently Cruisers have a similar problem with the turboed engines

He seemed to think a new set of big ends every 100,000 would be a good idea ;)

Bear in mind I am only running about 18psi at max boost spiking to close to 20psi and rarely going over 700 degrees on the pyro

What are everyones thoughts?

Yeh we took it for a spin just after Jilden fitted the gas. Booted it and the temps spiked like nothing else, so I've taken about half a turn out of the fuel :p

It's damn good to be single :angel:

Uniformed - thats what I was thinking....

It does also get fresh oil and a filter every 5000km and has a recently recored radiator and fresh coolant

You can block the bypass hole in the rad tank and that makes a supprising amount of difference in cooling. Pat
