The cup was too large for the cast housing, was only marginally too large, but large enough that it wasn't going to fit.So anyone else thinking of the same thing, just remember, not to try and force it in with a press,or you could end up with a cracked housing.
Yep a set of side gears and axles and spindles, would be all that is required.
If I had originally fitted the locker the same time as the R&P,I would have just bought a 35 spline Dana 60 Detroit. But I wasn't going to ditch a perfectly good locker, and I was too impatient to get the thing on the road,to wait for 35 tooth side gears.I had already waited 3 months for my McNamara locker for the front.
But with the setup I have now,I am confident that I can go out and come home in one piece.
