    Auto V8i Crank

I am pulling a Disco auto to pieces and I am at the stage of taking the drive plate off the rear of the crank.

I have undone all the bolts and taken the drive plate and ring gear off, but there is one piece still on the crank. I assume the central "hub" that the drive plate was bolted to will just pull / hammer off. The allen headed cap bolts are all out.

    Cheers.

Takes a bit of wriggling. A slide hammer may help. Find a long bolt with the correct thread and install a lump of steel on it.

Got it. Put the flex plate back on and wiggled it around. Came off pretty easily in the end.
