Strange engine happenings!
Gidday all - have a strange problem and I need some ideas to fix or resolve.
Recently had my TD5 Disco ECU reflashed by a AULRO contributor and as soon as I installed it, the temp guage stopped working and the radiator fan runs all the time while engine is operating.
I thought 'temp sender' has gone leg up so perhaps the ECU thinks the engine is running hot so activates the fan....
Replaced the temp sender and still nothing shows on the dash and the fan still runs 100% - (I suspect I now have two perfectly good temp senders).
I have an EMS kit fitted and the temps are spot on for the tune of the vehicle.
I don't have a Nanocom but can get a hold of 1 to investigate these 'faults' however......will a diagnostic tool help with this strange problem??
I have tried to contact the AULRO member repeatadly over the past weeks via email, phone and this forum but he is just impossible to get a hold of and I can't wait any longer.
I'm not all that worried about the standard temp guauge as I have the other (Although it would be nice to keep the dash functionsl) but am concerned about the fan working overtime leading to failure....
Any ideas experts???

So what's the alternative.......have a Discovery flash installed or go back to standard?
Will/can a Nanocom revert the ECU back to standard map??
Don't like my chances trying to get hold of #### this time of year to get the ECU reflashed and then back to me before Xmas.
Could try the mob in Adelaide I suppose

Problem solved with the correct Disco ECU reflash now installead ready for towing a 4Wd camper trailer around the VIC highlands at Xmas.
Everything now works - as it should have done the 1st time!!
Very, very disappointed with the quality and after sales service of the AULRO contributor who uses this site to promote his product.....
If you're gonna put it out there on this forum - then you should follow it up with 100% back up!
Nuff said - no names, no pack drill!!!
