    ByPassing Fumes 300Tdi

Hi All, What would go Wrong with taking the bypass fume hose off the air cleaner turbo inlet hose and just connect a steel pipe and poke it out some where, like the old donks, save all this oil build up in the tntercooler hoses and everywhere else it decides to foul up, mess up, and make my landy look like its fallen down a Iraqi oil well

    Happy new year

Plumb it into the chassis and you can rust protect the inside of the chassis whilst the oil leaks look after the outside of the chassis
It isnt legal, but I will add,I once owned a mitsi Trytoo. They are heaps WORSE than landrovers for blowby.I couldnt bear the oil mist going back into the engine,I simply did what you are suggesting,it will do no harm to the engine, just not a very "GREEN" thing to do.
Both our TD5 Landys are now equipped with a Provent to solve the issue.
