david - i don't work in mpg either but that's what the reports on the website were in. 12 l/100k is (if i'm calculating correctly) around 23.5 mpg so i reckon the guys on the website were on the money with their economy readings. it's just jumping up to 30+ mpg for the same driving is where the problem is.

never been in an l322 hse but they do look like a home away from home. on paper the 2.7 tdv6 in the disco has more get up and go and better economy but for $35k you sure don't get the full package like in the rangie.
