    B92 8NW,

"Let me know how it works out, I think I need the same holes/threads for my VDO crap"

IME most VDO senders Ive come across are metric M10 X 1.0
For example VDO oil pressure and water temperature just thread straight into the LR tapped hole?

VDO senders come in the thread you ask for.

I just hope that I have asked for the correct thread. It is only a concern where you need to use an existing thread, otherwise as long as you use the tap for your sender all should be good.

Can you PM me with details if you stock these taps and correct drill for them. I am trying to fit some gauges and need the senders which are 1/8-27 NPT to be fitted into the appropriate thread.
Currently out of stock of NPT but I have 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" NPT taps in a stock order that is 3-4 weeks away. Also have taper pipe reamers in the same sizes in the same stock order.

These taps are carbon steel not HSS, but the reamers are HSS. I have stock of BSPT taps from 1/8" to 1" in carbon steel.

I sell more NP tools than BSP probably because you can buy BSP from the plumbers section of all hardware stores whereas NP is usually sold by tool shops, hydraulic & specialist pipe and fitting dealers, and engineering suppliers.

Anyone who wants prices can pm me.

The tapping drill sizes for 1/8" NP are:-

    NPT with reamer 21/64".
    NPT without reamer 8.4 mm.
    NPS 11/32".
