    EGT & Boost Gauges

G'day all, I am going to fit an EGT & boost gauge, I have been looking at all of the options. I was almost sold on the Madman EMS2 as it will fit nicely in the standard dash where the clock lives but after a bit more research I have found this SPA dual display gauge which will display both parameters at the same time as well as high level protection.

Turbo Boost and EGT Kit Gauge DG 211

Any one here using one or know anything about them.

No don't know anything about that specific unit.

I expect that you will still require a K thermocouple and a boost sensor.

I just got a box of goodies including a couple of sensors, I am still waiting for my EMS.

Kit is fully inclusive of all sensors and wiring as well as comprehensive user manual.

Yep, but it still works out cheaper than a EMS2 with all of the senders etc.

Sadly I dont think there are any cheap options for monitoring EGT.

    and one of these

will set you back less than $100 including postage

may have to get a longer probe for the TD5, but they can make up whatever you need

Did the Auber digital gauges in my last Disco which are very good, and probably the best priced. VDO this time around though, wanted gauges with needles

Also search with aircraft parts shops, they also stock sensors & displays for oil pressure, EGT, etc.

Thanks all, the Auber seems like a decent solution are a much better price.

It would not look quite as neat as a tradition style gauge fitted in the dash but at the price who cares.

What display are you blokes using the green would be my first choice but they are currently out of stock,

I use red for EGT and green for boost. A small MUD pod might be good for housing the guage.
