Hi All, Just want to know the best way to put in an anti-theft cut-out switch in line with the fuel pump power feed wire??? As to my previous post about the starter motor, ended up having to remove the manifold and cutting the heads of the bolts. Many thanks to all who made suggestions of help. Bob
I don't have data specific to the '93. The '95 has relay K119 as one in the top row, nearer to the door pillar, white/green stripe wire is the control wire to the ECU, fat white/purple wire is the main wire to the pump. Put your finger on the relay and listen to the pump when you turn on the key. When sound and feel coincide you have your baby. then double check with a multimeter that its powering with the pump. Colours should be same, I don't thimk they changed much.
BTW all the info is from RAVE manual.
Yes, the 93 has an inertia switch LH side of the steering column between column and heater box. It is about the size of a matchbox, black plastic case, with a reset button protruding through the top. The wires (Purple/white ) going in and out interrupt the fuel pump signal after the relay terminal 87. just put a switch inline with one of them. Even if the relay gets 'jumped', the fuel pump still won't operate.
