I have repaired a similar thing, hacksaw off the barbed bit from a 6mm air hose fitting, drill out the remaining plastic bit a little to the right id and glue it in.

On these forums people often ask for help on why their crusie control system is not working, usually it's just a split hose or the pedal air switched are not working.
Here's another reason.
I found the air hose to the compressor was loose, it was not connected at the attaching nipple .
The nipple had corroded away. Now I have to find some sort of nipple to attached and glue back there to get it operating. Any one had this problem and was able to repair it?

I have replaced all the hoses and I am still not getting any joy. I am about to look at the brake switch.![]()
Test the brake switch whilst in place, as per RAVE manual. I'd even suggest slavishly following the Troubleshooting Proceedure. Made life easier when I did...
I did'nt at first... got 'perfect' result with it out... did'nt work when mounted. - Needed only a tenth of a mm differance in movement.... (Classic)
It's a bit of a worry... seeing plastic corroded/eroded away like that. Have you tried re-building it with something like Q-Bond ? - a 'super-glue' with filler powder. I've had success with a variety of plastics, including some that have'nt bonded with other adhesives.
The 'Q-Bond' superglue is a better formulation than most other cheaper S/glues. About $35 when I last bought a kit.
