LT 95 Parts
When I put on an overdrive on my 101s LT95 I have carried the removed parts as spares in case the overdrive plays up and needs to come out. I greased all the spares, wrapped them in paper and then put the bits in sip lock plastic bags. The lot then sent into a large ice cream container and carried in the 101 - been like that for about 18 months.
I took them out yesterday and shock horror, moisture has got in an all parts are now heavily rusted - have them now all immersed in oil before cleaning. The gear and other parts will clean up OK but the caged bearing (the output shaft from the gearbox is supported by this bearing that fits into the round blanking plate at the back of the tfr case) looks like the hardened covering on the rollers has rusted off - might cleanup OK but I doubt it.
So is this caged bearing something that I can get at a local bearing place or is it something I will only get in a LT95 rebuild kit.
Also the boot that seals the top of the gearbox around the gearlever input shaft has perished and can let dirt and water into the box - I have it wrapped up in glad wrap at the moment to prevent dirt ingress so I will also need one of these - where can I get this bit as well.
Thanks
Garry
