    Dual battery charging

Once again an old thread BUT if using a dual battery charging system with a 20 amp output for the second battery, what would be the primary current into the device? Jim

Hi jx2mad, need some more details.

Are you talking about DC-DC chargers?

While most of these devices do not come with adequate info, because they don’t want you to know how much power is really being used to get your 20 amps out, a give-away is usually the size of the fuse they recommend on the input side.
