    transmission wind up

    still trying to find this slip or shudder sensation in my 110 300 tdi
    so far the forum has been a great help my question is when i was checking prop shaft problems i removed my rear shaft and drove for about 3 or 4 for ks
    on bitumen.
    could this cause wind up cant rember if i had center diff locked there is no shudder or vibration felt through the clutch peddel mainly feel it in reverse
    driving me nuts

    unless youve done something stupid like fitting an auto odds are that its the handbrake binding.
    \
    removing the propshaft pretty much guarantees you cant wind up the transmission.

    nahh, if you've dropped the back shaft and the handbrakes dragging you can still achieve it...

    you can also do things like call it an automatic... I tell ya, If I was a gearbox and someone called me an auto I'd get wound up.
