    good morning,

Just by the by LR should do away with a dealer network and fund this forum instead. I'm sure the widespread poor image of Landies is due in large part to an uncaring official support network (sorry for any exceptions caught in the hail of generalised bullets) and the avoidance of their exceptional costs. feel better now.

My RR classic had the windscreen replaced recently ...all good until a long drive in a tropical downpour saw water gush into the cabin around the top interior mouldings ( shorted out the sun roof ...great in a thunderstorm) . In the process of investigating this later we found most of the roof panel crews above the front doors ( and presumably at the leading edge of the roof panel were loose, had fallen out or were missing ..so at speed the roof leading edge lifts 2-3 mm and lets the elements in (makes more noise too!!. ....and the screws won't grip if you put them back in , a larger dia. screw doesnt help so I assume theres something they're meant to screw into that has gone missing ?

    I think it's unrelated.
There is no way any windsceen fitter would touch the screws holding the roof on.
Your screws have succumbed to old age and too many rough roads.
Hmm maybe I should check mine.
My understanding is that you get loud whistles before it gets so loose as to let in water.
    Regards Philip A
The easiest way to fix it without pulling the whole thing apart is to run a sufficient bead of Sikaflex around the outside of the whole roof. That will glue it on. I did it with an old 2 door and was very successful.
