Yep ..... Nanocom does read boost.

I'd also be checking connection of turbo hoses and operation of Wastegate modulator - cheap to replace at about $48 and apparantly older ones starting to fail.

Nanocom should also read Airflow in kg/hr. at idle should be 50 to 60, and a hard stab on the throttle should see 500. 600+ under load driving hard up a hill.

If these numbers aren't showing up PARTICULARLY if you have 30 to 40 odd at idle, warm running measured after 30 seconds, then the A/F meter is not working.

well the old girl let me down tonight

it finally stopped going,so we towed it to AMV as they were the closest
darn thing just stopped dead with no warning at all
even had strange lights appearing on the dash display

not to bad really for a car thats been abused all its life

so i'll leave it up to them guys to sort it out for me and i'll let you know the outcome

    thanks for all your replys

..which is why I've kept the Mitsi Pajero 2.5 turbo diesel....NO electronic thingies, just the 'STOP' solonoid and tacho sensor.

    new chipped installed now

but still has no real top end power
have noticed the fuel block is leaking, would this stop the engine from reving out ??

it seems to get to a certain speed in each gear and wont go any harder
like in 4th gear it will only get to 90-95 k's,were it would go well over that before............
