    Blade Fuses

Im replacing the old glass fuse holder's in my '86 110 County with blade fuse holder's.

Im having trouble finding the right amp fuses, and wondering where the best place to source them are.

Im after 2.5, 8, 10, 12 amp's. The 10A is easy enough to get, but the others not so much.

I can however get 3, 7.5, 15 amp fuse. Is it possible to use these?

    ie. 3A in 2.5A, 7.5A in 8A, 15A in 12A spot.

Websites I have checked include: JayCar, Dicksmiths, Repco, Supercheap

    Any help would be great.

    Sean.

IMHO, the blade fuses you have listed will be fine.

Are you using Defender fuse holders or aftermarket? If the latter, which ones?

EDIT: My County only had 10, 16 and 30 amp fuses when I bought it, anything closer to spec than that will be fine!

    Hi Sean,

Should not be an issue to source. I am surprised some of the retailers on your list don't have them. However some of them such as the 8amp I doubt you will find. Also check out the Narva site. They have a neat circuit breaker in a couple of sizes. Fits straight in to the blade fuse holder. I seem to recall they are available in an auto or manual reset version.

Look up the nearest Diesel Spares to you. They carry Narva is all amperage's.The nearest to me is at Rocklea and their prices are great as they deal with the trucking industry mainly and wholesale prices are available to all.
