You are correct. Didge and Yorkshire Jon are two forumites I know who have had the linkages ill-adjusted resulting on their CDLs not engaging or not staying engaged.
Ok folks the story goes i have developed a vibration whilst driving, suspect rear uni. Got under and removed the propshaft all good so far theres even a bit of play in the uni.
Now to check i thought i'd lock the centre diff and take it for a quick drive on the front only but i have no drive![]()
I guess this indicates that the centre diff is not engaging am i correct?
Only way i can get any drive to the front is by placing a few clicks on the hand brake ( not good i know but i needed to move it a few feet in the driveway)

Thanks mate thats what i expected just wanted to make sure
And I have a had a center diff lock up at 65 kph . Nearly put my mate ( who was in the passenger seat) though the windscreen of the rangie . As all four wheels locked up . Had to remove both props just to able to move the rangie
Just a warning to get it sorted if it's the center diff
