ABS - Traction Control - Downhill warning

This has probably been asked before, and please feel free to ask me if I am brand new.

    I have a 2001 LR Disco Series 2 TD5 - -

Just recently, about 30 seconds after i start rolling my traction control, ABS and Downhill warning lights come on.

It runs perfectly and no change in performance.

Sensor problem? do i need to fix this?

Can this be a bigger issue that is not rearing its ugly head just now?

Some advice or theories would be appreciated.

Smart arse remarks are also welcome.

    Stu

It's a common problem, known as the 3 amigos. It's an electronic glitch usually and can be reset.

so if i dont do the reset etc, and leave the lights on, what are the reprocusions of just driving around with the lights on.

i have heard that disconnecting the battery and reconnecting will get rid of this issue.

is there a chance this could be a faulty fuse or something?

    or something.

given your description I would suggest that you have a conamintated tone ring a dodgy electrical connection to a sender or a sender thats not in position correctly. All cheap and easy to rectify.
