Can't help with what goes where, but I can advise to use the stock rubber bushes they are much kinder to mounting points, Regards Frank.
Gday,
I ordered a Britpart polyurethane bush kit for my Discovery 1, and have encountered a problem.
As I am taking the shock out I notice that the old bushes are either squeezed out of shape, or they are all randomly put in.
So now I have no idea which new yellow Britpart bush goes where, top, bottom, front, rear....
Attached is a photo of the 4 different shock bushes. Which of these go where? I have already used 8 of the 582819PY on the anti-roll bar attachments.
Can anyone help?
Much appreciated!

I am with Tank, I wouldn't recommend those shock bushes at all.
Hmm why is that? Is this just for the shocks?
If its any concilation, I have bilstein shocks...
If not these poly ones, which partnumbers should I use to buy some?
Regards
after my wife and baby nearly have a fatal crash with poly castor rod bushes 16 years ago, causing it to snap loosing all steering on the then ford, I never touch poly bushes again.
Even ford were amazed as the have never had a solid bar snap before
Why have a bush that lasts for ever and the rest of the vehicle mounts suffer. Rubber is softer ride and when it's goes then it is normal replacement time any way.
Drop the 'PY' suffix ; those numbers are LR part numbers. Top rear are NRC5593. 552818 is bottom rear. RNF100090 should be top front.
So you mean to say that replacing any of the bushes on the car with poly bushes, is a bad idea? That sounds so out of whack for some reason....
The original suspension parts were designed to be connected to the chassis/body with rubber bushes, replace them with stiffer bushes that don't allow as much flex as originals and you will be placing extra load/strain on suspension joints/components. Eventually the extra stiffness transfers loads not meant for stock suspension parts.
I have seen broken/cracked components when used with Poly bushes that just doesn't happen with OEM bushes, Regards Frank.
So youre saying a small piece of polyurethane is able to put enough force into a suspension bar to break it, but the forces from turning a 2tonne vehicle around a corner at 100kmh is not?
