    TDV6 2.7

    Guys
The TDV6 seams like a good motor I note that most of the trouble that I have heard about the D3 is about drive trains, diffs and bearings. I haven't heard that much about the actual engine, has anyone else?

The motor itself is great .

A couple of things that bolt to it have the odd spot of bother though .

There's been a couple of recalls - the HP fuel pump & brake vacuum pump can leak.
Both are mounted on the engine but I don't consider these problems to be a blight on the TDV6 itself.

The problem with L/R is they are a bit of an inovator when it comes to tech design, so you are likely to have problems with a first model of a new concept design. When were the issues, was it at the beginning when the motor first came out in the D3 or are these issues still happening with later models?
