    300 TDi Disco Auto Trans problem

    Hi I have a 1996 300TDi Disco and the auto trans won't change up from 1st gear from a cold start until it has travelled approx 500 metres. My driveway is also on an incline to exit and the car will only crawl out. Once it warms up there is no problem. The auto trans fluid is full and not discoloured. Can anyone suggest what my problem might be. Regards ReidT

    Most likely either a sticking governor OR the downshift cable is too tight.
