The only tractor pull I've ever watched, an old guy in a tiny crawler tractor pulled the sled all the way to the end. At 1 km/h.:D

New Hilux v Landie......................Hmmmm
One works off road the other is crap, don't think I need to tell which one is crap off road.

Hows 18.04 secs. for a 300Tdi 130 with 33" muddies and taring somewhere between 2660 (what I thought it weighed at the time) and 2920kg (what it came to a few weeks back over the quarry weighbridge)

Oh, and stock turbo, stock I/C and a few simple tweaks on the induction, fuel delivery and exhaust. :D
Now what could I do with an Isuzu
"snigger snigger, tehehe"
I wouldn't put my Isuzu against a well worked TD5 for slips on the road, longevity and with 3.5T and the back, yea, I'd back it with the papers:D

I'll have to get the calander back off dobbo.....
well i get the message that the hilux is a bad talking point haha dont blame you's  i am asuming that the td5 will have more acceleration but from what i have seen from my turboed isuzu put a set of 33' or bigger like some people have and throw a hill at it the isuzu "loves life" hills/loads just do not phase them  and i wouldnt say mine is anywhere near as good as others getting around on this site  but not having driven a td5 apart from a stock as a rock work ute that has been flogged i cannot say to much about them but if they are anything like my puma they would lack bottom end and need to be flogged to get any performance at all  one thing i do not like about any new diesel is the feel of the power delivery due to the electronics it just feels like $&#@ compared to tdi's and isuzu's
