I used a product called Red-Kote on mine...
Hey All,
Just picked up a S2A with twin diesel tanks. I emptied them today, the result - drivers side main ..... around 4 gallons of opaque orange juice coloured stuff, that smells like kero. -passengers side aux ..... 1/2 ltr of water and about 3 gallons of same coloured fuel as main.
My question is, what is the best way to flush these? I was going to add 2 gallons of fresh to each and go for a spin on the property then empty, but if there is a better way / chemical / method, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks and Cheers,
Daryl.

If you can get hold of a steam or pressurised hot water cleaner is one of the best gunge cleaners. Cup of metho WHEN COOLED DOWN to pick up any residual moisture. shake well and reinstall.![]()
Great, thanks Benny-IIA. Just got around to checking the main tank I drained and it has crud/corrosion over the walls, so I'll eventually remove it and probably do as you did.
Cheers,
Daz
