    TD5 Fuel pressure sensor

    Hi all
I am having a fuel leakage at the pressure sensor (rear of motor) L/R tell me it is a non serviceable item, $370 thank you. However on the manual in explode view it shows a circlip and two 'o' rings. Is it possible just to take out the sensor, replace the 'o'rings and replace the fuel sensor? (I do know I will have to take out the fuel block) If not why?

    Cheers

This your fuel regulator. The o rings can be changed however if the diaphragm is leaking then you need to change the whole unit.

    cheers

    Thanks for the reply,

There was a pipe pushing against it, not sure what it is but bent it slightly out of the way, it now only leaks a drop every now and again but will keep an eye on it. will put 'o' rings in in a few weeks and see from there.

    Thanks once again

I am about to order an O-ring kit from the UK for this. Found out yesterday that mine is leaking.

I figure for $20 or so, it is worth a go to see if I can fix it. Beats paying $$$ for a new reg if I dont have to...
