    york ac pump, no air!?

    Hi guys

kicked over the rangie on the weekend and was going to pump up some tyres (york ac pump with tank under passenger sill)
and the clutch engages/disengages when switched, but no air, before i did any further investigation has anyone got any ideas? i dont have an oiler plumbed in, could the pump be seized?

    Thanks,

    Tony

Pull the head off and clean the valves, they have probably gone rusty. Make sure you have a working inlet filter as grit will hold the valves open too. A bit of oil won't hurt it either.
