The drag link I have however left standard, as they rarely bend.

I have never seen upgraded track rods lead to failures elsewhere.

Agree,there is no way that I can imagine a beefed up trackrod transmitting damaging forces from impacting rocks, tree stumps etc to any other steering components. A stronger draglink maybe, but not the trackrod.

Hi all, Another very worthy mod is a Track rod guard.
I have both HD steering bars and the track road guard and to be honest its a wonderful piece of kit...

Deflects all rocks tree stumps away from the Track rod and give ultimate piece of mind.. very a affordable to.
