Thread: side facing Rear seats (cargo area)

Greeting fellow LR people.
I have a 2004 110 Defender. I have recently bought a set of 2 fold up, side facing rear seats which were on a salvage vehicle that has now been destroyed. They came out of a 04 Defender and were factory fitted.
So these are the seats that fit in the cargo area onto the wheel arch boxes.
I cant seem to figure out where to place the seat hinges. The seat belt support bar is now in place and I can work out where to fix the seat backs once the bottom seats are in but I am unsure on the exact positioning of the bottom seat hinge support brackets.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S yes I have posted this thread before but I cant believe that out of the thousands of Defender owners out there that no one has these seats that they could take some measurements from :-\

they'll be the same as the very late series and county ones....

the last set I put in we tacked the seat backs in place using double sided tape and occy straps then worked out the seat base position off of that.
