Thread: Wiring a Defender heater into County

Just after some help on how to wire a defender heater into my 86 Isuzu County.

The original air con was removed years ago, and I have just installed a heater from a defender tdi 300.

Can anyone shed a bit of light on this?

I have a plug in the engine bay (wires: green/yellow, green/slate, purple/green) which matches up heater fan.

From there I'm a bit stumped. I think it runs into the cabin, two wires go straight to another plug and the third wire runs to a fuse then to the same plug.

What needs to be done from there?

I some how thought the third wire on the plug unside was purple and not black (thats being colour blind for ya) which is what was confusing me. All easily wired up
