    TD5 Auto cooler options

    G'day All,

I have been reading alot about TD5 Auto cooler upgrades as I need to fit a bigger/aux cooler to me 99 D2 as I tow 2 - 2.5T. I can only find info on fitting one of 2 options

    1. P38 Cooler in standard spot, modift hoses to threaded ends.
    2. Bruce Davis Aux cooler kit.

Are there any other options? If so what are they and where did you get them? rough cost would be good.

Any info especially pictures of any coolers and how they mount I would love to see them.

    Thanks

    Guru,

Have a Bruce Davis one in my disco. Been there now for nearly 2 years. Cost was $400.00 plus gst and oil and labour for fitting. Has been good. Well the auto hasnt blown up yet

Would this type of thing be worth considering too?

They mightn't be too dear to import at the moment if the Canadian dollar is trading like the USD is.

Not sure what they do in Canada, or what the conditions are like, but that product seems to solve a problem which isn't there.
    Cheers

Most oil coolers will do the trick. The challenge is getting the matching ends for the hoses/pipes particularly if you want to use the P38 cooler.

The Rover Drive thing is a bigger sump for the transfer case with some cooling fins, it will not help your auto.
