Dashlight Warning
Hello All,
I have a well maintained 02 Disco turbo diesel. Have kept up with all services and it has driven oz at least 9 times now including the Telegraph Track up far north Q etc. Before I can get my pink slip I need to find some answers as to the dash warning lights that keep appearing occasionally. Mechanically, KLR could find no fault indicated by the lights - SRS, ABS, Traction, and descent. I replaced the main harness for a pretty penny and all computer code faults fixed - but the lights are still on. The SRS may be sue to front winch bar, the traction due to spring suspension at rear recently but others - and either way no-one can pink slip till there out. Anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? PLEASE HELP ASAP

For the SRS, check that the connecter plugs under the front seats are in properly. This can throw that fault. It's got something to do with the seatbelts or something like that.
Cheers

The SRS light being on is probably due to a fault in a plug under one of the front seats which connect the seat belt pre-tensioners. The other 3 lights are related to a fault in the ABS system, either a faulty sensor or a crook connection in the modulator.
Either way to find the faults, you will need your D2 to be plugged into an analyser which should give a list of faulty sensors.
As mentioned above, do a search on 3 Amigos for more information
