I have had a set and they are excellent,I got five conti A/T contacts for$460 each for my L322 which are just a bit more of a good thing. Pat
Are these any good for road and soft road use. I can get four 255/50/20 to suit my L322 Rangerover fitted and balanced for $661.00. Guess where? COSTCO Sydney![]()

My better half has those on the Freelander and I cannot fault them at all, well worth the money. No offroad tyre, though.
Cheers

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
So,, when it snows,
you have to tow her home with the Tombraider?
That could be good-
and bad,

I have Latitude Tour HP on the L322 now (18s), Very nice road tyre, quite, heaps of grip.
We have had them long term on the D2 (16s) as well, been to Kimberleys, Strez + Birdsville tracks, good wear, quite, grippy ect (why I put them on the Rangie) - still no flats.
PrettyFly did the http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-ch...ed-centre.html with them on his D2 - no flats for his trip.
For soft off road they will do the job, key is pressures, obviously you can't air down as far as the AT/MT tyres and the side is more likely to stake but what do you want to do - especailly with 20s? - For our vehicles we wanted a tyre primarily that sticks to the road and will allow us to do some light off roading.
I purchased the 18s for the L322 from tirerac.com but the 16s were local. As the price goes up the befits are increased.

Thanks all. Seems they might be the way to go. I would prefer 18" tyres but I cannot find 18" rims for the L322 03 model. Jim

I have the Lat Cross's on the xtrail and apart from some noise in the first 5000k's they are very good on and off road, they clear any mud very well but do hold small stones quite a bit.
