I have a 2000 series 11 TD5.
I notice at night particularly in the rear veiw mirror that when I accelerate thru the gears there is a quantity of black smoke from the exhaust.
Not a huge cloud but enough to be annoying and people to pass comment.
What can cause this.
I have ben putting injector clean in each tank of deisel for a number of months but has not improved.
Any thoughts would be welcomed.

Diesel smoke always looks worse at night but as bob said I'd be doing the hoses and filters first. Pat
