Thread: Maxi Drive comes on at start up

I have a Maxi Drive diff lock in the rear of my rangie and it has started to intermittedly engage when I start the car even though the switch is off. Is there a solenoid or switch I should replace and if so where can I get one from.

Assuming you have a brass pull switch under /on the dash, it is a mechanical switch . That is the item to replace /repair. I would assume an Oring may have gone, but as I have never had the problem I cannot give you further guidance. Just pull it out and have a fiddle.
