    disco window problem

Hi guys/gals just wondering if someone can help me out with a problem on swmbo's disco. Its a 2000 td5 disco and the front windows won't wind up or down. I checked the fuse and its blown. So i took the key out and and replaced the fuser and it blew again straight away without the ignition switched on. I thought ok must be a relay so found what apeared to be the relay, ( yellow one under the dash) pulled it out andf tried with another fuse and just blew too, so im a bit stumped as i wouldn't imagine there should be power there all the time. Does anyone have a witing diagram? i have one for the fender (not used Much) but sadly not the disco. Just wondering what might be up stream maybe or maybe if the motor's on the regulators short out?

    Little help

Oil in the Harness, suspension knock, transmission clunk, engine oil leaks, exhaust manifold leaks, centrifugal oil filter stripped bolts, a/c leaks, door leaks, wouldn't trade it for the world

Coloured Wiring diagrams are in the RAVE CD in the electrical section, also there should be pics of the actual electrical parts like relays etc.
They are avail thru this site, buying one supports the running of this site

Hi, I would start isolating where there is a short to ground. If you can in turn disconnect the connector to each winder motor - if it shorts while both are disconnected you know it is not the motors. You will need to pull off the door trim to get to the motor connectors.
    Hope this helps
