    Accurate weight of standard series 2-3 gearbox needed.

    What is the weight of a series 2-3 gearbox with transfer, handbrake drum and all levers, or at least a best guess (a very accurate one please) - I need to arrange to courier one and have no idea what it would be, the courier I use needs the weight when it is booked and any discrepancy incurs a fee (but the prices make the small inconvenience worthwhile).

    Can't find the stats in any of my manuals.

    about 80 kg, thats what I quoted e-go when i used them and they didnt ping me for excess.

    Mine went for 62 kg, plus 10 more for wood pallet. It was a syncro Series 3 from Santana. It didn't have the hand brake shoes....
