Squeezing two decent sized batteries into a Defender battery box?

passenger side rear battery sits a little high so i cant put the cover on i have a peice of timber in the bottom to level it out also had to bend the rear left up a bit to put battery in but it is flat again nowhttp://www.aulro.com/afvb/members/de...8102011205.jpg
driver side cant put cover on here either will modify them to fit one day:D

Pat, do you have photos anywhere of your dual battery set-up.

I am buying a camper to cruise around with my new 110 wagon, but looking at an anderson plug at the back has led to dual batteries, isolators, traxide stuff etc etc. Frankly a little overwhelmed by electrics at the best of times let alone working on a brand new vehicle.
