Now with pictures of the problem
Called rovercraft they seem to think the brackets should be the same size and it'll just need a belt to get in but it looks to me like the braket is the wrong shape and size

Anyone aware of any differences between RRC trailing arms and late D1 trailing arms appears the mounts on the diff are slightly the wrong size for the trailing arms on the D1
I found a comment by discowhite in http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...ling-arms.html
this makes sense as the diff end on the disco seems slight too large for the mounts on the diffearly RRC have a bigger dia tube, thin wall section, small chassis end pin and a cast diff end bush boss.
later arms have smaller dia tube (6mm smaller than the rrc) thicker wall (by 2mm) have a larger chassis end pin and a solid diff end bush boss.
Does anyone have advise on the best way to proceed. would it be worthwhile getting some trailing arms from a RRC or is that only going complicate things further. I'd rather not try and cut the brackets of one diff to weld onto the other

Well diffs in and a connected up only piped in into the engine bay so i have jump out to engage/disengage it and currently have no indication light.
If anyone has the wiring/install guide it would be appreciated as I couldn't find it after doing a search.
I also need to work out where to run the hoses through the firewall and to the dash, anyone got some advice on this ?
