    S111 SWB 4cyl petrol

    After a month or two sitting around Jenny starts then whilst putting along begins to splutter and blow black smoke.It did the same on low fuel main (it has a S1 aux. tank under pax) when cornering to the left.
    You can choke it by pressing the accelerator to the floor. Thoughts?

    massive overfueling, probably the needle and seat is stuck open or the emulsion tube isnt doing its job.

    If it is a Zenith carburetter, the top section is probably warped. Repair is fairly simple, if a bit tedious.

    Will inspect, I had a passing thought re correct float level a couple of weeks ago but no action taken. Your suggestion inspires me to have a look.
