seized caliper rh side disco2 td5
Howdy,
Got an issue I need a hand with. Does anyone out there have a caliper mount for a disco 2 td5 right hand side ?? Not asking too much but local eastern suburbs melbourne area ??
I was doing a brake and disc change on my sons td5 and the barstard will not budge @@##$$%#@@

Pierre, Sometimes I have success with gripping the caliper pin end in a vice, and using the caliper bracket as a lever rotate it back and forth while soaking in CRC or similar.

Yeah, have tried all of that with no joy. Am in middle of soaking it in wd40 in vice. Oh the fun !!

Justin, success! Mongrel thing had COMPLETELY seized. A small amount of strategic heat broke the bind-up. Some judicious cleaning up, antiseize on the pins, JOY again.
