Disco TD5 Radiator Replacement

Glad to be of help Glenn, I dunno how I got that auto cooler off, but it was real easy getting it back on. I thought it would take ages to get the tab back in.

Well the final test has been completed. Yesterday I went back to the steep climb out of the Kenilworth Valley and caned the Disco like I did previously. The temp got to a max of 95 where it previously got to 107 on a similar hot day so I am now very happy that the work has paid off.

Now all I need is advice on how to deal with those lower 3 hoses back on with better clamps. As someone else said, throw the LR clips as far away as possible.

I have just had to purchase a new radiator from MR Auto, Redcliffe. $ 350, but the best thing, the country of origin- aftermarket, Denmark. Not China. Good enough for me. ! Warranty 12 months or 20,000 kms . Bob
