Oil filter change

dont prefill pull the wire off the fuel solenoid and crank on the starter till the oil pressure light goes out.

Well by the time you get a full oil filter on a 300TDi it will be half empty anyway, I put enough oil in the filter to soak the paper element and do what Dave suggested I remove the fuel cut off solenoid wire and build up oil pressure first, never a problem, when the engine starts I run it for a minute, stop and check oil level and top up as necessary, Regards Frank.

No way to put a full filter on a factory Isuzu, its a cartridge type that faces up!

Not if you use a filter with decent (synthetic, not paper) media that flows well :D
