    Head stud kit for 300tdi

    Hi dose anyone know if there is a stud kit to replace head bolts on a 300tdi?, I dont like this angle torque method, I have had probs with the eng in my disco (dumped water on odd occasions) changed gasket waterpump to block gasket (leaking when I bought s/hand)header tank burst after that,water pump started to leak after that, then burst lower hose after which would blow water out of rad quite quick, found bent head 008" plus broken hose turbo boost to waste gate. Have since machined head and reseated valve but i have since heard this is not good to do with landy heads but I will give it a try anyway.

    Hi G2, From my previous experience with my 300tdi, was head checked for hardeness prior to machining as this is a problem after they overheat. I have also been told that head bolts should be replaced every time the head comes off.

    i got my head studs from turners along with a new 300TDI head and head gaskit

    Hmmm better check block if flat, is this common? yep have got new bolts
    Turners for studs?
