Thread: 89 RRC door inserts into an 88 RRC?

hey guys does anyone have any experience putting 89RRC door inserts into an 88 RRC? just wondering how much of a pain in the A$$ it is and if i need to extend window switch lines and change anything in the locking mechanism apart from the button? thanks in advance

while i've not compare both side by side, or tried to fit them, but the 89 doors do have a removable bracket for the differant armrest so maybe that can be bolted onto the earlier doors. From a quick look interior door handle seems to be in roughly the same spot. wiring should be long enough, if everything else fits the door lock knobs may cause trouble.

Hopefully someone here can shed more light on the process.
